The Blue and White Diamond; Unit History of the Western Australian 28th Battalion in World War 1, from its formation at Blackboy Hill in Western Australia in 1915 and its war service in Egypt, Gallipoli and the Western Front. The Blue and White Diamond is a hard covered, cloth-bound, 488-page, B5 volume with a dust-wrapper, containing 290 photographs and trench maps, as well as hundreds of eye-witness reports from contemporary diaries, letters, reports and journals of 28th Battalion men. The majority of the photographs, journals and diaries are from private collections and have never before been published. The volume includes detailed daily descriptions of Gallipoli and the Western Front and the horror of the battles, Nominal Rolls, a detailed Honour Roll, Awards, Citations and Recommendations, a Nominal Index and a Prisoner of War list.
