The majority of the photographs, journals and diaries are from private collections and have never before been published. The volume includes detailed daily descriptions of the Western Front and the horror of the battles such as Mouquet Farm, Messines and Villers-Bretonneux, Nominal Rolls, a detailed Honour Roll, Awards, Citations and Recommendations and a Nominal Index.
