It Happened to Us - NOT A UNIT HISTORY per se- but The Unique Experiences of 20 Members of the 4th Anti-Tank Regiment. 1994 - 1st Edition becoming rare. This Unit fought in the defence of Malaya. Three Batteries were sent to Singapore to help stop the Japanese, who had Australia as a target for invasion. Although slowing the Japanese, eventually were captured by the Japanese when Singapore fell, with the rest of 8th Division, becoming POWs. The fourth Battery of this Regiment were in Darwin, for the defence of Australia against Japanese invasion. This book focuses on the anti-tankers and the defence of Australia.
